- GAM achieved total revenues of € 60.88 million during first quarter, resulting in a recurring EBITDA of € 16.16 million.
- Sales have been severely impacted by bad weather conditions during the first two months of the quarter, and the slow down experienced in the wind power activity caused by legislation uncertainties. Revenues associated to the wind power business were € 3.5 million lower than in the same period 2009. Excluding the above, revenues for non construction business grew 43% compared to same period last year and the international subsidiaries increased sales by 47% (growth of 225% excluding Portugal). Total revenues for diversified and international activities represent 37.6% of total and are expected to continue growing in the future.
- GAM continues strongly focused on cash flow optimization and debt reduction. Net debt decreased, totalling € 497.54 million, under € 500 million, in line with Company projections. The company generated a cash flow of € 21.68 million before debt repayments and investments, and cash flow of € 3.79 million after debt repayments and interests. The Company cash and cash equivalent position at the end of March was € 63.10 million.
- GAM keeps focused on cost reduction in order to adapt cost structure to domestic economical conditions. In addition to the reduction accomplished in 2009, a new plan has been put in place to reduce additional € 40 million (annualized). Out of this amount, € 24 million (annualized) have been executed during first quarter.

GAM successfully completes the Rights Issue process with a demand that triples the offering |

Oviedo, March 16th, 2010.- GAM has successfully completed the Rights Issue process as stated in the communication sent to the CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores).
The Rights have been fully acquired during the first part of the process without being necessary to proceed with the Discretional Period Assignment included in the calendar approved by the CNMV.
The subscription period ended in March 9th, 2010 and concluded with the subscription of 14,942,236 new shares representing 99.88% of the total Rights Issue process. During the mentioned period 29,773,157 Additional Shares were requested, which represents 199% of the total Rights Issue.
The Company expressed its satisfaction after having received three requests for each new share, which clearly indicates the great interest raised and the commitment of the significant Company shareholders.
The Rights Issue process will allow GAM to strength its balance sheet and to consolidate its international expansion project to become the leading rental equipment Company in South America and Middle East.
As per the approved calendar timing, GAM will proceed to legalize the correspondent Rights Issue Process documentation within the coming days. Once completed, the new shares will become listed in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao Stock Exchange through the Automated Quotation System (Mercado Continuo). |

• GAM’s total invoicing is up 3% in the third semester compared to the previous. Net profit in the third semester stands at 0.3 million Euros.
• As maintained throughout 2009, GAM continues to dedicate itself to the optimization of cash flow and overall reduction in debt level. By September of the year in session, the company generated cash flow of 103 million before debt repayments and investments.
• In the process of restructuring its overall debt level, the company has added more financial entities to its debt reschedule agreement reached in July 2009 thus bringing the percentage to 78.6% of the company’s total.
• Moreover, the company continues to focus fully on its Cost Reduction Programme in the aim of achieving a monthly total in recurrent operating costs of 16 million Euros.
• And finally, GAM continues to dedicate itself fully to its diversification and internationalisation projects. Total invoicing from international markets has increased by 25% in comparison to the total invoiced in the same quarter of the previous year.

GAM pacts a new repayment schedule with its financial entities |

• GAM has reached an agreement with its financial entities to reschedule its debt repayment in order to adjust repayment to suit the current industry conditions and company results.
• Cash flow maintenance and debt reduction remain firm priorities. At the close of this semester, gross debt had reduced by 43 million compared to the level reported in December 2008. Net debt was equally reduced leaving a debt level of 569.8 million. Liquidity level remains constant at 62.5 million Euros.
• Sales in the first six months of 2009 reached 143 million, 25% down from sales level in the same period in 2008. The resultant EBITDA: 30%. EBITDA has reached 43.3 million Euros. Total cost reduction has achieved savings of 15.1 million in comparison to the level of expenses incurred in the same period of the previous year (10.5 net million Euros subtracting for damages and other non recurrent expenses.)
• GAM’s prospects remain positive given its business model. Its continuing diversification and strong international growth will continue to be its principal growth drivers. With growth of 24% its international business will accelerate total company activity.

GAM has registered its third best session since its flotation in the Spanish Stock exchange last June 13th at an IPO reference price of €8.25 per share. Today it has moved up 6.81%, setting its price at €10.51 per share, this was surpassed only by Sniace that, due to the expectations placed in bioethanol, has raised an impressive 11.81%.
This good performance has probably been driven by the recommendation made by Ibersecurities, that has advised to purchase the shares of GAM at a goal price of €12.5 per share.
