GAM’s course goes on without its venture capital.

Significant Spanish financial entities and executives from the company General de Alquiler de Maquinaria (GAM), lead by its president, Pedro Luis Fernández, had acquired today 20,28% of the shares that so far was owned by Dinamia Capital Riesgo SCR, S.A., Inversiones en alquiler de maquinaria srl I y II.

Among the new shareholders there are financial entities form the North of Spain such as CaixaNova, specialised finantial funds such as QMC Capital Fund as well as private investors.

All of them have acquired relevant partitions, although in all cases below the 5%.

Equally, some of GAM’s most important current shareholders and members of its board of directors such as Cajastur, BBK and Gondaral, have also increased their share by nearly a 0,6% each.

Finally, GAM’s President, Pedro Luis Fernández together with the management have reinforced its present position with their present stance in the Company increasing their shares by 1,5%. Out of this percentage, 0,75% corresponds to the President, being the other 0,75% acquired by the executives. This is a clear signal of the faith in the company that the managing team has shown since it became a listed company. The percentage acquired by the managing team has been already agreed but the transaction will be executed in the following days.

Dinamia and other venture capital investors, advised by Nmas1, have always been one of the mainstays of the company, accompanying GAM in its beginnings, during its development and until its final consolidation when they made their debut in the stock exchange market in June 2006. With this transaction, the venture capital investors conclude their collaboration with GAM as temporary partners. Their last contribution to GAM’s present success is the entry of the new shareholders.

With this change in the shareholding structure, GAM enters in a new phase with other strategic challenges, new growing plans and business opportunities.
