In addition to the recent contract signed with JLG, GAM announces today the agreement reached with the company Haulotte for the supply of 600 aerial platforms.
It is expected that the supply of these units is executed along 2007, based on the forecast prepared by GAM as per the Company needs.
Two major objectives are pursued with these agreements. On one hand support the growth of the existing depots, that will allow the Company to cover the increased demand of their customers. On the other hand be able to equip the new openings of depots planned for the first months in the year 2007.
GAM continues to give strong support to the top international manufacturers of equipment. Haulotte confirmed in October its positive business trend for the last three years, with a turnover as of September of 346 million of euros. Haulotte is being ranked as the first European aerial platform manufacturer and the third at an international level .
GAM reported a turnover of 134 MM€ at the end of the third quarter, 2006 and considering its business volume but also its number of units of machinery and depots, unquestionably plays the lead role in the Spanish equipment rental market.
With this new equipment, GAM will keep the development of its business in the aerial platform sector where it already has a consolidated position in Spain. At the same time it will enable the Company to keep its strong support to the diversification process initiated in 2006 providing services to new markets as GAM Vías, GAM Puertos, GAM Energía, GAM Eventos, GAM Verde y GAM Estructuras. These Divisions contribute not only to the Company growth but reinforces its leadership position in the Spanish market. |
