GAM and JLG signed the agreement that they had reached on April 24th, 2006.

General de Alquiler de Maquinaria (GAM) and JLG signed the agreement on the purchase of equipment that they had previously reached on April 24th, 2006 and that will last until 2010.

In the next few months, GAM will receive from JLG 250 units of machinery, and the deliveries will continue until they reach the agreed quantity of 1.200 units.

The function held today at the Headquarters of GAM in Asturias is the culmination of the negotiation process resulting from the long and stable relationship between both companies.

With this agreement, GAM has committed itself with JLG Industries, a world reference among the producers of mobile aerial work platforms that, after its recent acquisition in October by the company Oshkosh Truck, has become one of the biggest worldwide companies in the production of specialized machinery worldwide with an annual turnover of more than $7.000 million.

Besides, JLG has offices in every continent and offers full coverage. GAM reported a turnover of 134 MM€ at the end of the third quarter, 2006 and considering its business volume but also its number of units of machinery and depots, unquestionably plays the lead role in the Spanish equipment rental market. Due to its extraordinary overall development, GAM is considered a solid company and is considered as a reference in the Spanish equipment rental market and, more specifically, in the market of aerial platforms in Spain.

GAM’s huge investment in equipment has the only aim of offering its customers the most innovative machinery and be able to cover all their needs by the “one stop-shop” system the company offers.

GAM’s already strong position in the market segment of aerial platforms will be reinforced by this new equipment, and will also enable the company to boost the development of its new business lines started in 2006: GAM vias, GAM puertos, GAM energía, GAM eventos, GAM verde and GAM estructuras. Again, these new segments will reinforce the company’s lead market position, stimulate
